Thomas Tallis School has celebrated the 25th anniversary of World Wide Web by inviting Kuato Studio to deliver a session on Javascript using their game platform , Hakitzu. The event was to celebrate the UK Hour of Code week and to help demystify that coding is difficult . This was the first event at Thomas Tallis School to raise awareness and confidence of young children towards coding and programming - the increasing demand of the 21st century. The event was very successful where children developed the basics understanding of the structure of functions. They enjoyed coding to present and discuss their solutions to the set challenges. Find below some pictures of students engaged in Hakitzu tournament.
